Spelling Bee

So i had the pleasure of finally seeing on of my most favourite musicals live on stage yesterday, in lovely London Town. Beautiful sunny day and i went off exploring parts of london i have never seen before all the hidden cobbled streets that connect covant garden and liecester square. it was wonderful. Found an art shop bought some new pencils settled myself in a sunny courtyard and listening to a live swing band play. perfect day.

The musical i saw was The 25th annual putnam county spelling bee. a musical...about a spelling bee. although it has been harshly dismissed by many stuffy london theatre critics who care only for niche dusty old musicals like your sondhiems and gilbert and sullivan, because it dares to entertain the audience and leaves people happy.

Thats what it did for me made me ridiculously happy i was grinning from ear to ear, even more so knowing that i got to see it for £7.50 when tickets in london cost around £80 nower days oh the joys of cheap student tickets.

anyway, that inspired some spelling bee related arts on the train journey home.

I want to be in this show so badly :(.
